donerix Posted April 3, 2010 Report Share Posted April 3, 2010 Just got this back from my watchsmith after final assembly: ROLEX Ref. 6154 The specs: Case: Silix (re-shaped) Movement: Molinja 3601 with NW bridge work (special Thanks to Gordon) modified NW movement ring Dial: DSN (aged and toasted) Hands: Puretime (took them from a case I used for another project) Crown: Silix (re-shaped and aged) Caseback: Temporary one for now (will have a sterile one engraved with Rolex-Oyster-Precision) Strap: Prototype of new Vintage Series "NAVALE" Better pics tomorrow morning with natural light Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The hands were a bit tricky: had to use the center part of the original minute hand as a sleeve to make it fit. That compromised a bit the alinement with the dial. All I really did was to toast it and give a rather sloppy matt spray ...
