Hey folks...it appears RedWatch...our very own Noob-of-the-Year (even though at the rate he's moving is definitely no Noob) will be in the area and we're thinking of doing a short GTG. The initial date that seems good is Friday, May 14...somewhere downtown ideally.

So far...we're hoping for at least RedWatch, Andreww and myself in attendance...and are now wondering if others might be around as well?

Let's see if we can do a bit of a GTG!!

lol @toad

yeah... sorry :)

May "teh true Kanadians" forgive me!

I was originally trying to "mimic"

an average American lol...

Europe? Wheres that?

But dont want to mix up guys... i heard (i have friends in toronto

from greece) you canadians are pretty "laid-back"

and smarter than americans too 8)

(PLS may no US resident read this post so ill get stone to death)

BUT Canadians BEWARE!!

I also heard some US guys making HUGE PROGRESS on this issue!

After having found where exactly the US lies and still

is located... they found the Iraq, than also Afghanistan...

Hopefully they will never find out WHERE exactly Canada

or Toronto lies :D (i keep it secret)

Too bad, my bathing trunks are in the dirty laundry

otherwise i would consider "chiming in" your Toronto GTA from Europe -

the atlantic can be lil cold at that season 8)

The best to you friends!!

It amazes me, living in Los Angeles, how many people think that Toronto is on the West Coast!!! :D Cracks me up every time!! I even saw a car full of Americans at the Niagara Falls border crossing with ski's on ski racks in the middle of July!

Heh heh...yeah...there are many that just don't get their geography. I'm not one to talk mind you.

I've seen cars up here in the summer time from the US with skis on top..hmmm...we're north...but not that bad.

@all

Just out of curiosity:

Is it true that most of canadians (also Toronto)

choose to leave their homes "unlocked" when going

out or even at night when sleeping?

Is that something as an "urban-myth" they sell

us in EU or somehow practised?

LOL I wouldn't practice leaving my door unlocked in Toronto (however in my condo, I'll leave it unlocked to run out for milk or whatever) though I know once you get out of the city / suburbs, a number of people leave their houses unlocked. I can't tell you the number of times I've been north to the Muskokas and the cottages are unlocked while we're out on a boat trip / beer run / into town.

When you're in a smaller town / community, and you know your neighbours, you relax on the "security" of your property to an extent.

Thanks Mac on brightening up my knowledge :)

But DAMN!! i cant believe (looked it up)

we EU people got scammed by Michael Moore -

this was stated in one of his films...

He represented Canadians as such "frightening"

people that they even dont need to lock up their

homes against burglars!

Knowing girls such as Pamela Anderson... or Evangelista

and others i highly doubted Moore on that one anyway :D

I might be down with a GTG; downtown TO is bit of a haul for me though, especially for a Friday. Will have to see how the work schedule pans out.

Too bad you can't make it my friend. We are wrist twins after all! It would have been fun to swap some watches around!

Hey Toad,

Tons of places downtown to go for drinks though if folks are bringing a bunch of reps to show, some thought into some place a little more discreet may be in order?
