Watchmeister Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 Does anyone know which Rolex movement is closest in height to an ETA 2824. Asking for a contemplated project. Thanks in advance.
ubiquitous Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 From personal experience, a 2824 will exchange with a 1520...
ubiquitous Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 That is correct as it lacks the calendar mech/ring.
alligoat Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 The 2824 and the 3135 are also very close in stem position. WM9/BK uses the 2824 in the YM, 16610LV and the V3 sub.

Do a little research lazybones This site ---> http://www.ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-db.cgi?10&ranfft&0&2uswk&& is VERY useful when planning mods!! Btw its german and english with many pictures of movts. too - database has over 7.000 movts. listed... How much have you? ETA 2824 is 4.6 mm in height and 4.7 mm incl. ball-bearing some Rolex shown in database: Rolex 3035 is 6.3 mm in height Rolex 1530 for. ex. is 5.75 mm in height Cheers @all friends! George

Stem height We need a wiki/db. Hand size is my #1 would be nice to know.
