The seller is saying that the dial is the current model, but luminova. I am waiting on pics. I am curious to see if it says "Swiss" or "Swiss Made." Has anyone installed a gen dial in a WM9 BK V3 sub?
HauteHippie
It's been done on a V2. You don't want a SWISS dial in a WM9 though.
alligoat
Yeh, 'Swiss Made' is correct, the 'Swiss' would be too early for a WM9. Around 2000 the 16610 still had lugholes, but the SEL bracelet may have debuted at that point. To mount the dial, cut the dial feet and glue it to the top movement ring. DW should line up just fine. If there is a clearance problem with the DW, you may have to use some dial dots- the 2824-2 doesn't have the clearance the 2836-2 has.

By-Tor
Personally, I wouldn't even consider a dial swap. WM9 dials are very good. But of course if you're really hardcore... why not? Check Watcher's WM9 v2... maybe the best franken there is. LINK. He used a gen 'SWISS' dial.
