I had no idea that the inexpensive Senator Sixties was so perfect

The sixties is a nice rep but FAR from perfect.

The gen is 39mm and the rep is a whopping 43mm

Apart from the size, the crystal is the biggest tell.

Here's the gen

and here's the rep

When you get to the back and movement, there's not even a resemblance.

The gen is an auto, the rep a manual. The gen has a very unique display caseback, the rep has a flat crystal.

I have always thought 43mm was too much for that kind of case and dial.

I'm not surprised at all to hear the gen is only 39mm. :whistling:

It's a shame cause it's really a classy watch.

Yes, I got an SS rep based on photos taken straight on but the rep is much thicker and larger than the gen and misses that beautiful curvature of dial and glass. I was very disappointed with it and haven't really worn it since I saw a gen.

On the wrist, the dial, hands, case, lugs and crown look soooooo good. Yes, certainly the case back is a dead give-away. Aren't all exhibition backs?!

The domed crystal and the size are WAY off. Almost like too different watches when you see the gen. The rep is just too big and flat.

Don't get me wrong for the price it is a nice watch but it can't even pretend it's not a rep.

man i've always wanted one!

Is the crystal domed like the gen?

The crystal has a shallow dome, not a crazy dome like the gen.

For someone who has no idea about alot of things, you still have a lot to say...

Your mom's been yelling at you again? Sorry to hear
