leitztozeiss
. . . my three year old son, that is. LOL. The first is a genuine Bijoux Terner with quartz movement. It seems to be more accurate than any of mine and also has decent lume. The other is a limited edition Garfield "Hydro" and bubbling crown - no lume though. By-Tor
That Garfield hydro is a killer. If it only had the helium release valve I'd be all over it.

r11co
The Bijoux Terner thing is actually quite cute I thought, but what's that going on at the bottom of the crystal?! Did you forget that it was the Garfield that you are supposed to fill with water??!
jonthebhoy
The Bijoux Terner thing is actually quite cute I thought, but what's that going on at the bottom of the crystal?! You know nothing. That's the famous "bobbing 6" movement designed for the Japanese Navy. The bobbing 6 floats on a 4mm sump of pure Glycerine and always resettles back to the 6 o'clock position to let the diver (or failed kamikaze pilot) know he's right side up in the water. Like a lot of their zeros in WWII, it never took off. Still a collectors item though. Banzai! JTB
