Rolex case back openers?

I am fixing to buy a case back opener. I am looking at the ones for under $100 and there are a few of them. They all come with the six die to all rolex except the DSSD I think takes a 34 or 36mm die. Starting with the generic hand wrench with the it is $40, the Paylak looks like good dies and it is $69.95 can some one give me some feedback o these two. They also have another hand wrench that looks like the generic but the dies look different and better. I read a review from Amazon that the generic was a piece of dung. Then there is the LG openall, three different ones, one with the base and the case holder, on one with out and one with the case holder built in, can I get some info please. If you know of another tool please post info, thanks fellows. I think the openall is going to be my choice but I am not sure about the dies. I a supercharged Cobra and have race in all types of motorsports in the past and do not mind spending on good tools but the Bergeon or the Horotec is to much for what I need to do. Maybe after the collection grows and I stay as enthused as I am right now maybe down the road, thanks again. I also like the WR tester does anyone know where to score a replica tester. I too pondered the idea of buying a set of rolex dies and tool. I decided against it and I have never once run into a screw case back that the Bergeon 2533 suction wouldn't open. Though, extremely tight cases probably would require something a tad more robust.

I use a wad of sticky tape, press like hell and crank it open. No worries.

I use a wad of sticky tape, press like hell and crank it open. No worries.

That's pretty much my method too, but with dishwashing gloves

Except for cases closed with them, I have rarely had any luck opening cases with these suction gadgets (including tape wads). Further, although this subject has come up many times, I think it bears repeating that those types of case openers are only designed to open a case (not close it) since they may not provide sufficient torque to seal the case.

I used the sticky ball on my DSSD, Bolivar, and Turn-O-Graph. Worked perfectly.

If a sticky ball opens a case back, it was never tight enough to start!

And I trust you are testing your watches after you close them with a sticky ball...I'll assure you they won't be closed tight enough!

In regards to the specialist Rolex case back sets, there are many grades made, and a lot are packaged very much the same.

However prices vary dramatically, as does the quality.

The 29.5 die (the most used one) does not line up with the flutes on Rolex case backs, in a lot of the examples available. ( Problems with the smaller sizes also exist, but are not as pronounced.)

The model we have selected and sell, is at the top end of the price bracket, however it does have dies which will open your Rolex caseback, and not mulch up the case back flutes.

In fact we also source a spare 29.5 die, from the same supplier, to replace into those who have kits with faulty dies!

Our DSSD die, does line up and work correctly, and is available as an extra.

Do your research on this one guys, as one use of a faulty die will cost more than that complete case opener set!

And the price difference from mediocre to excellent is a mere few $$.

I know the sticky ball isn't the best thing to use but if one wears a watch as a jewelry.piece and doesnt go anywhere near water isn't it suffice? How possible is it to over tighten the caseback?
