My Ultimate 112H

Eton

Recommended Posts

Well, I had the day off today and I thought it was about time I took some shots of my first base PAM, the 112H.

It’s by no means new as I bought the 112 from DSN last year. There’s something about base dials that I just love, and this watch started my base obsession. It has a Swiss 6497 and runs like a champ, it’s like driving a manual transmission; you’re in control...which I really enjoy having that extra personal relationship with the watch, it bodes well with my gear head brain!

It wasn’t long before I started modding it, especially after receiving Chieftang’s fantastic double AR on other watches. The 112 was going to have it regardless of being incorrect and since this base is on my Gen buy list, I thought what the heck! It stayed tame for a while, but after spending some browsing time on P.com, I threw on a Gen calf strap and tang buckle. I’m pretty basic when it comes to straps; a black and gray kind of guy, so no brown straps in my future anytime soon, just a personal preference. I then installed a Palp crown and LH CG; this is when the watch finally looked complete in my mind. I’ve put the most personal labour into this watch and I’ve learnt a lot by doing so. It’s definitely scary at first, but just takes patience and it really changes the way you view the watch.

Enough chatting though, onto the pics, I hope you enjoy!

Cheers! :drinks:
