4th Generation PO Crystal Question

Well I can consider this complete now.

Crystal for me was the best mod. It's just a shame the AR coating isn't a little more robust. Gen bracelet finishes off my franken.

how does Chiefs or Taka's AR compare to the gen crystal. I had a Chief and a Taka AR done on another watch, but wondering if I should get an AR coat or just splurge on a gen crystal. Eventually I'd like to get dial and bezel mod too, but firstly is the dial swap then the crystal mod.

@If you see Kay - The gen has a totally different hugh. I had a chief's on mine and while it looked really good, this one look better. I don't know if it's the quality of the crystal itself or what, but, it does make a big difference, even when compared with a Chief's AR job...

Hey Db2 have you considered doing the he valve? I can't help feeling that's the only tell now, but I'm not sure if I'm losing perspective and becoming a little obsessed!!

Probably becoming a little obsessed. As far as I know there is no big different between rep and gen he valves...

I don't think the 4th gen is too bad but it is bloody awful on the 5th gen and it had to go!!

Agreed, I'll try to replace it with a hv from a 45mm UPO.

I have to admit the gen bezel makes a huge difference.
