what2 Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 and most rolex rep cases uses 28MM dials, do any of them uses the smaller dial size?
highoeyazmuhudee Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 and most rolex rep cases uses 28MM dials, do any of them uses the smaller dial size? yep, MBK 5513 cases fit genuine 5513 dials (personally tried, fit perfectly)which are 25.8mm or 26mm when advertised (rounded up)
what2 Posted December 11, 2010 Author Report Posted December 11, 2010 and am I correct in assuming that mbk cases are made of un-obtanium?
FxrAndy Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 I think Narikaa has been able to get some
sly Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 My Gen 5513 Dial(26.2mm) fits perfectly on an MBK 5513 case as well. My MBK 5513 case was originally for a tudor 9411 snowflake project but decided to build a 5513 first.
chiman12 Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 The PT 1680 case should work and would be a prime candidate for a cheap 9411 build. Even though the dial size is 27mm, the rehaut opening is approx. 25.97mm. IMO a 5512 would be an appropriate build for a 7928, while the 1680 case would be appropropriate for a 9411 build. In fact, since Ubi recently so graciously donated a GMT bezel to me...I have a PT 1680 case sitting in my parts box. It is free to you...I'll even pay shipping. PM me if you are interested....
