Omega007 Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 It is a very fine rep and thanks for the pics of the b&w version. I am considering this one. I just am hung up on either 21j or 25j although the price leans me toward the 21j on the b&w. b&w 42.5mm is james bond's watch. he wore one in one of the last films but I forgot which film and what scene(s). usually he was wearing a 45mm but not always. Bond wore a 45mm on rubber in Casino Royale and 42.5 on bracelet in Solace.
rocky78 Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 GREAT Review!!!!! Gonna order one now! THANKS!

signumboy Posted January 14, 2011 Author Report Posted January 14, 2011 Didn't get mine either... Ordered the day after it came out. Got shipped the 16th. I'm amazed all those that are M.I.A. I ordered mine the same time , about the 9th of dec and got it a week later.
D999SS Posted January 17, 2011 Report Posted January 17, 2011 Man I was excited when I saw this thread thanks for all the comparison shots and info. Quick question, would a GEN dial swap be possible with the Asian 4813 movement? (The placement of that logo is almost as bad as the happy feet.)
signumboy Posted January 17, 2011 Author Report Posted January 17, 2011 I don't know if it is possible , but if the watch will take a gen dial , hands and crown. Then it would be a stunner. The dial looks dull against the gen (its mainly the sliver bits around the markers and on the hands) , they really shine on the gen.
Eton Posted January 17, 2011 Report Posted January 17, 2011 Having had a Franken UPO, the dial just makes such a difference, the coloring of the markers aren't the same on the rep, so it's worth the extra bucks in many ways. Also, some sort of double AR (Gen or Chief) is a must, IMO!
amptor Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 I wonder if gen crowns will directly swap in this time or if you still need to replace the crown tubes. Anyone know?
danza1812 Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 The rep crown will not work with a rep tube, it's to do with the thread.
