I use a similar method on my GMT. Only I use tape on the bezel and case, and I use the can opener tool out of my Swiss army knife (very similar to a case knife). It wouldn’t work on my Chase Durer, and I would never attempt it on my gen Omega.

Boy that's a good tutorial. I do the same steps but I don't use tape on the lugs.

You probably heat the case to 1500 degrees then throw if off your balcony into the driveway to pop the bezel off... I've seen your pictures....
