rocky78
Okay I have to admit that Im easy to be pleased with White Exp II, only flaw into my noob eyes has been the grey/gun metal markers. This came from member who had got it from Sead, and this has black markers!! Thats really all that matters to me Like I said I dont know any other flaws, so be gentle, otherwise I'll never show my new toys to you again. Onto pics: Thanks for looking! Cheers, Rocky
sneed12
I'm waiting on mine from Sead as well... Did you buy this from the guy in England? I was going to but we couldn't work out the payment, he wanted a wire transfer
Prsist
Brilliant Exp II! I may be wrong but there was an Exp Ii with gray rings made for a couple or maybe just one year in the mid 80's

Prsist
Just undid my Rolex Explorer II white dial. It has the black hour rings! I'm tickled pink!
alligoat
Looks good Rocky! Date mag is correct which is the next most important thing next to the black hour surrounds The Explorer II which came out in the 80s' after the EXP II - 1655, was the 16550 and it had the silver/gun metal surrounds (and the dials which turned to a creme color). The 16570 came out in the late 80's, and it had the black surrounds and the 3185 motor. BTW, Rocky, which motor do you have in yours?

ryaku
It looks pretty good! I'm just wondering if a bezel swap is doable, numbers are too close to the ext edge How about the rehaut engraving? Is it alligned? I suppose we can just brush the rehaut and solve the problem thanks for sharing
rocky78
Thanks Ryaku, sent you pm The rehaut is little off, also just noticed from this pic that someone has eat little of my "Swiss Made" text. The 6 o'clock marker also seems to be too close the text compared to gen. Not visible in real life, to me at least
