I hope you're into Sea-food, then you're in HEAVEN, baby! Check out Bayside Market Place........several Resto with different flavors! More down to earth! Great non-tourist club: Bardot, (3456 North Miami Avenue) off the beach, but the best place at the moment. Best beach: between 2. and 3. Street (all the locals still go there). Great sushi at Sushi Siam (55th street Station, also check out NightOwl, the only store that sells Donerix's straps ). Best Pool: Still the Raleigh IMO There is also a great watch store in Bal Harbor on the second level and the Italian restaurant at street level used to be one of my favorites (I lived in Miami for 10 years). I recommend Indomania for a great Rijstafel and cosy, friendly atmosphere. Had a great time there, it's not upscale and you get decent prices (not one of Miami Beach's fortes, usually). For Breakfast and Snacking check http://www.lasandwicherie.com/, for Budget late night binge eating Tyrannosaurus Mex right beside. For decent lunch and a good wine list I'd go to the Pelican Cafe on Ocean Drive. Nice terrasse for people spotting. Oh and if you need that extra energy kick go to one of the many small Cuban spots and order a Colada. Enjoy with care, it will make your hair stand up!
