Olivax
Hello, I'm trying to source a gen rolex cyclop 25-116. Do you know any good seller on the bay or elsewhere? It's so difficult to be sure to buy a gen one. Lot of seller are selling aftermarket plexi and claming it's gen. Thanks for the help

cjjoyce1
PM Blix. I know for a fact he scored one recently in a large lot of Gen crystals he bought. I don't think he needs that particular one.
rwgforumfan
How do you tell if a 116 is really gen or not?
tabularasa415
How do you tell if a 116 is really gen or not? Cyclops mag (if the crystal has one) is, in my opinion, the best way to tell. Having seen many after market plexi crystals, I also feel there's a certain clarity to gen Rolex plexi crystals that aftermarket products lack. freddy333
Sealed Rolex packaging & purchased from Rolex. Anything less than that & you cannot be sure.
Rolexaddict
Cyclops mag (if the crystal has one) is, in my opinion, the best way to tell. Having seen many after market plexi crystals, I also feel there's a certain clarity to gen Rolex plexi crystals that aftermarket products lack. Its true that gens clarity and cyclop are better, also lot of aftermarket collapse or develop micro cracks when pressed on the rehaut wall. If impossible to source a gen, I would suggest the "new 25-116" from Clark which is the best aftermarket for acrylic formula quality and specs
