rosnik
Hi friends, I'm losing my mind to look for the way to get the '727 replica DW bridges' on my Valjoux72 for my 6265 Daytona. The bridges appear to be totally off, and Domenico can not get them in work. Do you solved already? Tips are welcome! thank you
Migge
From my experience, if domi cant do it, it can not be done
rosnik
I'm in accord with you| The only problems is that DW in convinced that we can do it!
JoJo35
Don't waste your money, no matter what you do to it, it will still look fake.

dropbear2008
Don't waste your money, no matter what you do to it, it will still look fake. Jojo35, do you think the jeweleryandwatch bridges are any better ?
alligoat
As I found out building my 6238/9, all Valjoux 72 bridges (and movements)are not the same size. The V72 from my Heuer wouldn't even fit in my DW case. Luckily I had a Wittnauer V72 which was smaller and fit right in. Also, maybe DW's bridge is off slightly- chinese manufacturing tolerances.... wiesn089
I don't think any of these bridges will fool a seasoned collector and who else would want to take a look at the movement? I've got an unbranded V726 ticking away in my 6265 and though I am normally for 100% accuracy I won't spend a single dime on a movement bridge. I also fear that maybe the function of the movement might get affected by exchanging a part like this, since as alligoat has pointed out correctly, they aren't always constructed the same. freddy333
I'm losing my mind to look for the way to get the '727 replica DW bridges' on my Valjoux72 for my 6265 Daytona. The bridges appear to be totally off, and Domenico can not get them in work. Ziggy was unable to get mine (from jewelryandwatch) to fit on my V72. I suspect the bridge will need to be modded a bit to make it fit correctly & at some point, I will try again myself. Jojo35, do you think the jeweleryandwatch bridges are any better ? Except for the finish (which is not bad, just not perfect), Phong's bridge looks like the real thing. If only it fit. As much as I hate to say it since I assisted DW in designing his, Phong's chrono bridges are probably the best (looking) I have seen (but his pricing is ridiculous ).
