I think this mitigates the only complaint I ever had about my GMTIIC (the polished center-link bracelet) & turns a blingy GMT back into a tool watch. :good:

Very nice, thanks for sharing :good::drinks: I think you've been chatting to me for too long if you're seeing the fun of aftermarket customization though ;)

You could be right, Teejay. But only this once (to dump the bling).

:drinks: I like how the straps're able to be fitted with the watches existing clasp, it's a nifty little twist on regular aftermarket straps :)

Looks nice. Wish there would be a version for use with a buckle though. Especially if people are buying the rubber because they want to wear the watch as a tool watch.

I grew to like the look of the bracelett with polished midlinks but I hate that they made such a complex and nice clasp and then connected the first link by welding two spots instead of milling everything from one solid piece.. There are a couple of broken gen clasps on the rolex forums. Wouldn't want to risk having my watch drop to the floor and have the insert shatter on top of what else breaks.. New clasp, new ceramic insert and bezel, full Rolex service.. $$$

If I remember, the DSSDs have been particularly prone to this breakage...

$220

It helps ease the sting for gen owners who might worry about putting 'a cheap strap' on their Precious :whistling:
