1680 Posted June 15, 2011 Report Posted June 15, 2011 Hello, I've just received a 24-7030 tube from WSO and allready ruined it I have big problems with fitting the tube in the Josh/Cartel case, the tube does not want to get deep enough into the case. Sorry don't know how to explain it properly. Any advice? Thanks!
Ronin Posted June 15, 2011 Report Posted June 15, 2011 You need a 3.00x.35mm tap to chase the threads and possibly go deeper into the case -or- you will need to use a Dremel to cut back some threads. I have also found many of the aftermarkets are longer on the inside portion. Maybe find a Gen?
1680 Posted June 22, 2011 Author Report Posted June 22, 2011 So, today I got my M3X3,5 tap, but unfortunately it didn't help... I took 2 pictures to show my problem: I thought the WSO tube is built like the gen, can anyone confirm this? Thanks

cht Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 yUP, I used a dremel and a bit just big enough to countersink it ever so slighty. You need to be care, you do NOT want to make the counter sink hole to big!
