maxman
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tx4Myxf1s8Y&feature=related What a waste of a tremendous talant. Although I wasnt a huge fan,I did appreciate the Jazz/Blues/Soul vibe of her music. Just another sad example of how drugs/alcohol addiction having no boundaries. RIP Amy. subbiesrock
I adore her style, for me she was one of the greatest singers of our generation. RIP Amy.
vafarmer70
I don't think I had ever heard of her, until you guys mentioned her on here before. It is sad that so many of these young singers fall under drugs and the like.
TeeJay
This one was pretty inevitable, but that doesn't take away from the waste of talent, or that a family is now missing a daughter Rest in peace, Amy
Ronin
Welcome to "Club 27" Amy... (Shame, when she was 'functional' she was a talented singer). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/27_Club The 27 Club, also occasionally known as the Forever 27 Club or Club 27, is a name for a group of influential rock music artists who died at the age of 27. The impetus for the club's creation were the deaths of Jones, Hendrix, Joplin and Morrison, and[url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/27_Club#cite_note-0] Cobain... Watchmeister
The cover of the New York Post was Amie Winehouse dead at 27> They asked her to go to rehab and her only response was "No, No, No" Brutal but honest. Feel bad for her family - not her.
mastrmindalliance
I'm a huge fan and think it's a pity. I was eagerly awaiting the forthcoming album which, if any progress was actually made, will now be cobbled together by record execs and marketers. Two things though: this as news, pales in significance the the Norway incidences. And secondly. I never thoguht she was hot. Edit to add: @subbiesrock: are you aware that your WTB sig is unreadable? Even on a 27in monitor?
dluddy
Too bad but inevitable the way she was living her life. No denying her talent, though
