A bit optimistic, methinks. 7922s and 7924s usually price in the $20k range; but $60k for a 7928?!

What I want to know is: how can we get this pitting effect? JMB's bucket of trimmings does some wonders for aging, but I want some pitting! :D

That looks like a series of cuts and scrapes that have been polished and worn down over time. You could probably achieve something similar by running a file vertically against the lug profile and then polishing down using a series of compounds and rouges.

I'd practice on a throw away case first.

I would hate to see what the ARM looks like if the steel watch is so gashed. The guy probably has to wear watches on his johnson by now.
