He's passing one every 3 seconds or so, so they're not mile markers. 420mph is 7 miles a minute, so they'd be 1/4 mile markers, most likely.

Indeed that ride for the "Good coffee" can be a lil nerve racking. The thing I dont want is a blow out at 426 MPH,would kind of ruin the whole morning,dontcha think?

The reason this one is actually a car is that the engine is powering the wheels, as opposed to being a buggy with a jet engine on it. If you stop using car technology, you can go way faster than 426mph.
