tabularasa415
Anyone want to chime in as to whether or not this is the genuine article? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Omega-Seamaster-300-Automatic-/160664428893?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item256858a15d

tabularasa415
That's what threw me off, too, but like you said... everything else looks too good to be fake (or too good to be true?) LOL Maybe that's why the price isn't too crazy yet Maybe I'll just have to keep a close eye on it... The rest of you bastards stay away

woof*
Pretty cool! I would want the seller to confirm refund if it wasn't gen before I bid. There are just so many cobbled watches out there like mine Shouldn't be too much to get a new crystal and service. I have never seen a 563 in a sm300 before, anyone else? dbutlerman
563s did not come in the SM300 watches. Only 565 when the watch had the date option. My guess is at best, it's been cobbled together. Date mag on the crystal is not right, so at some point that's been replaced with incorrect parts. The case height also doesn't look quite right. Looks too tall - also coloring of the bezel, etc... Take a look at LHOOQs Viet Cased 300 Click Here I could totally be wrong - but I'd steer clear.... dbutlerman
Take a look at the crown shot from the side and compare it to mine below. The bezel looks way taller on the eBay one Sorry for the crappy pic. It's from my iPhone and not enough light, but I think it shows my point. tabularasa415
that's what I was looking for, db2 (and everyone else). Call it a gut-feeling. I thought it may be too good to be true and it certainly was. --Jer
