greekgod
Hi Guys, I was browsing through youtube to learn how to repair and take apart movements and came across this website http://www.ticktockpro.com they have a 5 DVD set of instructional DVDs about introduction and repair of watches and I was wondering if any one has ever used these?? and Anyone who has these dvds wanting to sell them ?? Cheers? PS: Or if anyone has a better option out there?
usmctowgnr
I am wondering the same thing. I know timezone has an online line 3 level course.
freddy333
That course is about pocket watches, which are similar to, but not the same as wrist watches. Many of the skills, tools & procedures can be transferred over to wrist watches, but the TZ course, which I took several years ago, teaches you how to repair wrist watches & they use the same ETA movements you find in most modern reps. So it is much more useful to RWG members.

Ronin
+1 to what Freddy333 & PeteM said. I did the TZ School, and am totally comfortable doing a complete service on ETA based watches. The TZ toolset + quality Ultrasonic cleaner + timer is all you need to maintain a FLEET of watches.
