Hi Guys,

I was browsing through youtube to learn how to repair and take apart movements and came across this website http://www.ticktockpro.com they have a 5 DVD set of instructional DVDs about introduction and repair of watches and I was wondering if any one has ever used these?? and Anyone who has these dvds wanting to sell them ??

Cheers?

PS: Or if anyone has a better option out there?

That course is about pocket watches, which are similar to, but not the same as wrist watches. Many of the skills, tools & procedures can be transferred over to wrist watches, but the TZ course, which I took several years ago, teaches you how to repair wrist watches & they use the same ETA movements you find in most modern reps. So it is much more useful to RWG members.

There are plenty of info sources that are free for watch repair... here are a few, plus there are many listed on here in the movement sections and articles :) So save your money at this time... plus there was a DVD/Data pass around in the VIP section which had everything you could ever need to know...

+1 to what Freddy333 & PeteM said. I did the TZ School, and am totally comfortable doing a complete service on ETA based watches. The TZ toolset + quality Ultrasonic cleaner + timer is all you need to maintain a FLEET of watches.
