watcher
Just been looking through some pages on Puretime's website and came across this. Looks interesting but obviously lacking certain details like dble AR at the moment. Have a look. http://puretimewatch.com/product/mark-xvi-ss-11-editoin-a2892-prototype/
Lobster
Oh snap, that actually looks very good! Hope the crown turns out fine
chrgod
Yes, it looks interesting. It uses the A2892 movement, so it will be thinner than the current 2836 movement.. The hands also looks good. I bought the model which was released in August.. Then right after I receive it, this model arrives on the scene... Anyway..Out with my Mark XVI. Even though it was a nice watch, I prefer the new model. There is a flood of the cheaper, dress-IWCs at the moment, using the Asian 2892. Many of the new Portofinos look good also, but I have not seen any reviews. I hope they have a decent crown on this, as the one on the current rep is a bit on the large side. The crystal actually had good two-sided AR, so I expect the new model to have it as well.. Some pictures of my Puretime IWC Mark XVI is here. chrgod
Some more pictures of the Mark XVI. No price yet, I will guess around the 260 mark, judging from the other A2892 watches. http://puretimewatch.com/product/iwc-2011-11-02-01/ Me like!
