glennpenn
Hi does anyone know how I can contact the factories producing rep watches? I´m especially interested in the one making the IWC Portu reps. G
browngo1
Not 100% sure, but I don't think the factories will deal direct. I think you'll need to go via the trusted dealers.
maxman
I agree with browngo. This would be a good place to start, one of RWG's most trusted dealers. http://www.1-pc8838....-c-106_213.html Im not aware of anyway on how to deal with the factories directly..If thats Indeed what you are asking. Good luck:) Mike
kbh
Even if you went to Ghuanzhou and met a trusted dealer as a guide, he wouldn't be able to get you into a replica factory. That's like asking where a cocaine processing factory in Columbia is.
PeteM
You can also try Polo.... But you will be hard pressed to get one started from scratch... Factories usual need at least a minimum order of 100 to make serious changes but may make variations for less...

Watchmeister
I don't think the number is 100 or even 200 for a factory to make a change. It isn't like the old days. Now the real minimums are certainly in the 100's or 1,000 plus. The dealers who actually request changes typically can sell 100's of just one model. And even then the factories are slow to make any change.

Not disagreeing mate I was just going by some conversations I have had with dealers... as an example of a brand new model... the 312.329s etc all required 250 minimum per model but with a minimum of 1000 against the cases, CGs etc etc
praetor
I wonder if you can manufacture cases if you just go to a machine shop in your local area with a CAD design. Rolex parts are so expensive and I'm definitely not paying $1k for a case by phong. Edited November 14, 2011 by praetor
