james1261
Hi, i just purchased a grand carrera calibre 17 rep from joshua and it was delivered yesterday. I was initially very excited to have the watch as it is my first rep purchase until i spotted an obvious flaw. I didn't get to see the flaw in the QC pictures as it was obscured (intentional?)...now i'm disappointed as the flaw seemed more obvious the longer i look at it. There is white dirt on the TAG logo, above the "U" of HEUER. Why is that so? Here are some pictures: 1. QC picture: 2. Self-taken photos: What do you guys think? Is it obvious? Any idea if any AD is able to correct that? Thanks!
d4v1d
LOL. I have that watch either. But: NEVER BRING YOUR REP TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER! This tag is a nice rep but it's not great at all! It's slightly thicker then the gen and the sunken date wheel is a big tell. You can send it back but with my calibre 17 they have forgotten to paint silver the right sub dial.. It's just white... I don't know where that flaw is coming from.. If it's just a piece of dirt you maybe can remove it.
maxman
I dont think the dirt was covered Intentionally...because the chrono hand is at It's normal position. Im sure the dirt can be removed..If that is Indeed just dirt. I know it bugs you...but on the wrist no one will notice. If you cant get over the flaw...send it back for another Tag This Is my next rep. Courtesy of member sepaphe Mike
the_rymeister
It looks like it could be a thread off a polishing cloth maybe?
Rolexman
$10 dollar fix by your local watchmaker. Don't sweat it.
importr
whatever the substance is, i reckon a cotton bud dipped in wd40 will easily remove it, if rodico doesn't. as for the Aquaracer Chrono - it's a great rep indeed, but when I saw it at the AD, it looked massive! It appeared to be much bigger than a PO Chrono!
sgtguk
Like Rolexman says looks an easy fix, albeit a pain cause you shouldn't have to do it ! Well, the one from asia7750 is a dead link. The other is a link to a watch that Josh at Perfect Clones sells. I don't know much about asia7750, but Josh is one of the most trusted sellers around. Spend the extra money and go with Josh...

You are missing nothing...same watch from the same factory. The only difference Is price. Tony @ Asian7750 is usually $25-30 cheeper than most of the other dealers. I have done business with Asian 7750 many times over the years....always a very good experence for me. Tony Is a top notch dealer. he is also a trusted dealer at other rep forums...like RG and RWI. Josh @ Perfect Clones Is one of the most trusted dealers around...cant go wrong with either dealer here. Hope this helps. Mike
