Aha..! Aside from the second hand, does anything else indicate it's fake?

betters ask the other way around ;) really a bad fake ...

The typical rep bezel is taller and more angular than a gen, which is flatter and at least looks wider. I've never actually measured one.

My thoughts were the green lume, crown, date font and bezel...all looked wrong..

The font used on 'Rolex' seems to be incorrect also.

This is using an ETA or China-made movement with stock date wheel positioning. On a gen DJ the date window is nearer to the center of the dial by about 1mm and is longer, horizontally. This is the reason that we use a date wheel overlay with near Rolex factory fonts. This date window is in stock ETA, or other, position nearer to the edge. That's why it looks funny.

End link fits nicely but the lug shape is terrible!

Lug at 5 was the first thing I saw. The finishing of the brushed surface is really bad.
