Generally you have a dial spacer to keep the datewheel from rubbing the bottom of the dial. You also might have a case retention ring for securing it to the case. Finally, there is often a small "washer" that sits between the dial and center wheels that drive the hands. That should sum up any extra loose parts.

SO IT GOES OVER THE DATE WHEEL AND THE DIAL GOES OVER THE SPACER? ALSO, CAN I USE THE OLD STEM AND CROWN FOR THE NEW MOVEMENT OR DO I HAVE TO CUT THE NEW ONE TO SIZE? AS YOU HAVE PROBABLY GUESSED I'AM GOING TO ATTEMP A MOVEMENT SWAP. ANY TIPS TO MAKE THE ATTEMP SUCCESSFUL? THANKS AGAIN.
