freddy333
Good, clear pics (1024x768) of all sides would be helpful.
Jimster
Check the auction history at Antiquorum for prices. Search only 2010 and 11.
ww12345
Wait, is this gen or rep?
kbh
Rep with a couple of gen parts.
ww12345
That's what I thought. I don't think they sell reps at Antiquorum, though!
lhooq
That's what I thought. I don't think they sell reps at Antiquorum, though! Other than the odd S.A.S Seamaster 300 from Vietnam, or custom-made Heuer chronograph, that is.
ww12345
Right. Those are "custom" pieces, LHOOQ, not some run of the mill, mickey-moused watch like your 5512!
ogladio
Other than the odd S.A.S Seamaster 300 from Vietnam, or custom-made Heuer chronograph, that is. Haha, or the Rolex 6154
ww12345
Yes, that too! I can't figure it out - are their "expert" appraisers blind or just stupid? I think the collective voice of this forum could do a better job than they do. Maybe we could put in an application - you know, split the profits all around... Seventhfool
I really apriciate all the help and advice in here, the reason i asked my question "6263 with gen Rolex crystal, tube and crown, what is a fair price" is that i dont have the knowledge myself. Its gonna get buildt for me, the only additional information i could get is that its with a asian movement. For me that is to little information to pay 900$, what do you guys think. ogladio
That's about the same price I paid to have Spinmaster put together a DW set, a modified asian 7750 movement plus the exact mods you list (plus waterproofing, adjusting etc). Think the mods were then listed at additional cost $350. FYI, there are numerous suppliers of parts here (cartel stock from TDs, yuki, ingod44, NDT, phong etc - the latter more expensive, at least the phong case) - you better ask for clarification before pulling the trigger. Here's my Spin 6263 (pardon the angle that makes the crystal look funny and the fact that I'm allergic to bracelets):
wiesn089
If you are talking about the Asian V23 copy movement, run, don't walk away! It's gonna be dead before you know it and impossible to service/fix. For affordable 6263/6265 builds stick to a V7750 version modified to manual wind from Spinmaster. Definitely get the seller to tell you which movement is inside, otherwise you're in danger of obtaining a really expensive paper weight. kbh
I wonder what my DW 6263 with gen crown, tube, crystal, pushers, gen and rep bracelet and serviced Swiss 7760 ETA and both bakelite and SS bezels is worth? Hmmm.
ogladio
Do the maths, but remember that value is relative and that it's still a fake watch / illegal item and unsellable outside of forums like dear RWG
FxrAndy
$900 I would say is too much at least with out a lot more detail
