mastersdom Posted February 14, 2012 Report Posted February 14, 2012 Just called my local AD about a new 78390 bracelet. They are £980 "but there is a price increase on March 1st". What a joke! The almost exact same bracelet for the Tudor Sub is "only" £450. I know it's quality stuff but £980 is beyond a joke for stainless steel. Or is it just me?
FxrAndy Posted February 14, 2012 Report Posted February 14, 2012 Nope it is not just you,, when you can buy a brand new SMP bracelet for 250GBP but a rolly one cost nearly a grand, Rolex TAX!!!!!!!!, oh and i am sure there is a price increase the 1st of every month.
woof* Posted February 14, 2012 Report Posted February 14, 2012 You can do much better buying mint of TRF
w.genzo Posted February 14, 2012 Report Posted February 14, 2012 well 93250 last time I checked was 1650$..
wiesn089 Posted February 14, 2012 Report Posted February 14, 2012 Yeah, it's becoming more and more ridiculous. And no, these aren't anywhere near the quality to justify these prices. Let's hope it's not the same increase like last year (100%).
Valty Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 This could help : http://www.network54.com/Forum/207673/message/1328840195/FS-+VERY+odd+but+mint+Daytona+78390+bracelet+with+503b+end+links £550, probably negotiable...
Arctos Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 I paid $1100 for a gen bracelet last summer. Plus two links @ $50 each.
Watchmeister Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 Panerai's are north of $2k from the dealer so don't feel so bad.
