josechano Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 Does anyone knows who sells this movement itself? Which dealers sells it? 1
preacher62 Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 Does anyone knows who sells this movement itself? Which dealers sells it? Sean at etaswiss.net
fidhle007 Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 He has the movement alone? How much?
irolexu Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 Just curious don't know one go grilling me for it but does a clone 3135 fit a wm9 v3 case?
josechano Posted February 24, 2012 Author Report Posted February 24, 2012 Just curious don't know one go grilling me for it but does a clone 3135 fit a wm9 v3 case? Actually thats what I need it for
Ephry73 Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 This movement for a SSD will be a nice thing.
its_urabus Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 In speaking to sean the other week, you cant get a sa3135 by itself. you have to get his case set and a movement. you can buy the 16610LN/LV with the sa3135 he has listed and get a whole watch with the sa3135. then sell the rest of the watch.
6now Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 Yes, separate movement alone is not available yet.
its_urabus Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 the thing was, there was only like a $75 difference between the sa3135 alone or a whole watch with one. my thought was since its in a watch you can know if the movement is DOA and you get extra parts I am waiting for sa3135 v2, there is always a v2 1
automatico Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 "...there is always a v2." The Official Motto of the Replica Aficionado!
z3k0 Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 "...there is always a v2." The Official Motto of the Replica Aficionado! Actually, I would say "There is always v(n+1)" - where is n is the current version
preacher62 Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 Yes, separate movement alone is not available yet. You could be correct, but if you go to etaswiss.net and then Rolex, then 16610 case set, then click on 16610 case set and it shows the movement alone. Another poster on this forum stated that he purchased the movement from Sean.
its_urabus Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 Might be right preacher, as I spoke to sean about 2 weeks ago, things always change. His comment then was the factory was going to make you buy the case and movement. I hope that has changed as the movement can be used for cases other than the 16610.

It would be great to build a DJ with the CA 3135 movement.
fidhle007 Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 He only sells the movement alone if you buy the 3135 case set as well and it's still as much as the entire watch from PT.
highoeyazmuhudee Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 strange an inaccurate chinese copy of a 3135 costs more than a swiss 2892A2 when many watch makers will agree the 2892 is just slightly less robust than a genuine 3135
FxrAndy Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 Mad i wouuld buy some of these if they were sensibly priced as i like the idea of non eta, but priced like that for an asian movement, even a very good one is just stupid
6now Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 Yeah, inquired again. Prices are a bit steep and small difference. I'll join you guys and wait for the 2nd (hopefully more reliable) version.
FxrAndy Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 I have not heard of any reliability issues with this one, have you?
fidhle007 Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 It hasn't been around long enough for anyone to know...
