duke1973 Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 http://www.ebay.com/...=item1c2474c626 Thank you sir! I'm just a little grouchy, I just woke up. Working graveyards for the last few months makes me a not so likeable person! (so my family says! HaHa)
Martyd3 Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 It does say nicely restored, so it's only half a lie.
freddy333 Posted March 5, 2012 Report Posted March 5, 2012 Marty - I think you are being much too generous. This is an out-&-out new, aftermarket dial, nothing gen about it. Whenever a seller's description infers that he has more than 1 of a rare dial ('This is a beautiful dial but is my last one so I it must go for the right price'), you can pretty much click the next button & consider yourself lucky. Whoever bid over a grand (so far) is going to be very disappointed the 1st time they post it on a gen forum.
zaza Posted March 5, 2012 Author Report Posted March 5, 2012 He's got offers already! : Looks like feet have been cut off too.. Someone was trying to flush this into an ETA? I hope it's just the angle! Isht Sent from my iPhone
Guest oliviermenard92200 Posted March 5, 2012 Report Posted March 5, 2012 We are on a forum which celebrate the fake, so what is the problem?
asf Posted March 5, 2012 Report Posted March 5, 2012 We are on a forum which celebrate the fake, so what is the problem? We may enjoy replicas but we don't enjoy people getting their money taken by bad people.
zaza Posted March 5, 2012 Author Report Posted March 5, 2012 I think the seller's response to me earlier this morning confirms the Dial is fake. I quote: Hi sorry someone made me a great offer today so dial is sold, but I can get one more tomorrow...it is not lumed and so you would have the choice of lume colour should you wish to take it? Thx Ivan He sells them by the bucket load! Buyer will definitely have an FML story to share as soon as he receives it.
