bklalaw
Over the last few months I have been an avid reader of this great site. I have taken a lot so I wanted to leave back a little. In the past month I have received three different reps from three different dealer as follows: Cartier Calibre (two town rose gold) from repilcafe.net Cartier Ballon Blue from marvellousreplica.com Breitling Navitimer from Joshua Here are my reviews and photos: my favorite and most realistic look, feel, and function is the Calibre: it is an absolute gem. It was about $250, and I think it was a wonderful deal. Swiss 25 jewel movement, sapphire AV (Which is phenomenal) domed crystal is almost completely invisible, beautiful movement, and a spot on 18k rose gold overlay. I've had it three weeks, and get a compliment on it several times a day. The Ballon Blue is also a very nice rep. It has Jap auto movement, sapphire domed crystal, and looks very genuine. The only problem is that it does not have an engraved serial number. The photos from their website showed the watch offered was with a distinct serial number engraved, but this watch does not. So any close inspection by anyone with general knowledge would know it is a rep on first inspection. Other than that the watch is beautiful.. I paid around $275. The last rep I received was the Navitimer from Josh.. and it was the most disappointing.. First off the watch is a bit too small for my average sized arm. It fits but is super tight and already on it's max expansion. Further that watch, just feels fake. the engravings on the back are sharp to the touch, the metal strap in extremely ridge, the date is sunken back too much, and the watch is just not that pretty of a rep.. The most glaring defect, is when I shake it to self-wind, it has a loud "grrrrr, grrr, grr, gr" like the sound of an old washing machine. you can hear the metal rubbing against itself. I have not, and prob will never wear this watch.. again about $250.. it was supposed to have AR sapphire, but as you can see, it has a glare to it.. NO WHERE NEAR as pretty as the Calibre i got from replicafe.net. so there's my review, two great watches, one dud.. here's all three together, and one more of my favorite driving in my car..

sgtguk
Good on ya B for the reviews, the Cartier Calibre is awesome looking I'm not a lover of TT watches but in this case I'd make an exception ! Thanks for sharing your collection
latara785
Congrats, beautiful Cartier pieces! wear them well. Thank you for the review, I now like the Calibre the Cartier a lot, I didn't know is 11.5mm thick, looks terrific. I must add it to the wish list in all SS. Jkay
I can understand your misunderstanding about the AR on your Breitling replica. You just need to read a bit more to know what's going on. You can see by the dual reflections in the crystal that one reflection is white and the other is blue. This means the watch has single-sided AR coating, as many Genuine watch makers use. Stick around and read up on all the fun stuff this hobby entails! Just have fun doing it.
ilovegirls
Do reps come from different places? ie: a rolex from place A versus place B? I was under the impression that these watches all had one source.
ilovegirls
Btw, I went to replicafe and their account has been suspended.
Jkay
Do reps come from different places? ie: a rolex from place A versus place B? I was under the impression that these watches all had one source. While there are different factories making high quality replicas, there are not normally multiple factories making the same watch. It is not as if our dealers each have their own personal factory to make "better" replicas than other dealers. When you see a web site with a $1200 Rolex GMT IIc replica, it is 99% certain it's the same as the $128 GMT IIc replica an ***honest** dealer carries. The first dealer is simply robbing you, expecting you to be foolish and uneducated. There are a handful of instances where the same model of watch is made by a couple of factories but that is an exception to the norm. Unless by "one source" you mean Asia? That is true
Jkay
Btw, I went to replicafe and their account has been suspended. Normally when someone new to the forums starts naming non-forum dealers, and saying how great they are, it's a scam. The user is a shill set up to trick you into giving your money to a thief and a liar. Normally. I'm certainly not saying that the original poster is a shill ..
gran
The CARTIERs are interesting...we need more reviews on the different versions of the Calibre Thanks for posting
Rolexman
Thanks for sharing but.......YOU GOT RIPPED OFF!!! More than $500 in total for the 2 Cartiers? Both with cheap Asian movements. You state the Calibre has a Swiss movement but one can clearly see the cheap 21j movement through the back. Maybe the watch from Josh has a loud rotor but that's the only watch that is worth the money and has a A7750. You state the AR from the Navi is disappointing but judging from your first pic the Calibre hasn't got AR at all.....
FxrAndy
Ditto the above coment you were sold that Calibre Cartier as swiss 25l but it has an asian 21j, i would say you got pulled over the table with this watch for $250!!! second the other cartier you say it has an Asian 21J but you paid $250?????? sorry man but i would not be paying what you paid for asian movements, i think a bit more education to recognise what you are being sold is in order
bklalaw
Btw, I went to replicafe and their account has been suspended. Oh. Your're right. I made a mistake.. It's been a little while... The site I got it from was replicafe.us. Not .net. Can't believe I "f'ed" that up.. As for being a shill, yea that what I went through all this trouble for, and have to listen to other idiots telling me how I got ripped off. And I messed up the name of my shill site on purpose, you idiot.. Truth is the watch I got from their trusted dealer Josh, really is a pos.. I own several gen and everything about his navitimer reminds me of a tin can.

ilovegirls
How can you tell if the watch has the a7750 movement versus others. I love Jacob and Co epicII watch but one has a7750 and the other is something else for much less. Is there really a big difference in movement? I did try to search but info was vague. Thanks
Jkay
I'm sorry you got ripped off, and understand why you are so angry. Here's a link to your Cartier from an honest, forum-trusted merchant. It's $118 not $250, plus they are honest and admit its an Asian movement, not pretending it's Swiss, trying to take some rube for a ride. http://www.watcheden...121350-p-1.htmlWatchEden has a perpetual $20 discount from listed prices, which is why I say it's 118$ Good luck with your future purchases; just use honest dealers, not scumbags like the one you listed. Thanks Hello different types of watch movements look completely different. It's the same as telling a Toyota from a Porsche. The replica Cartier shown here by the original poster has a glass cover, so you can easily see what you are getting.

Jkay
I spent the time to look up your Ballon Bleu as well, and it's fair price is $118, like the Calibre dCartier. http://www.watcheden.net/cartier-ballon-bleu-de-cartier-automatic-with-white-dial-s-s-sapphire-glass-i-126066-p-1.html

So you think 140$ extra is a good price for sapphire crystal? And since you did not know how to read the AR on the Breitling, why should I assume you could tell sapphire from mineral from oatmeal? I reviewed my, "MY" watches with "MY" opinion. Nothing more, nothing less. And Im happy with them. No need to post your personal opinion on whether or not I got every lick for my dollar. To be honest, a few hundred bucks probably means a lot more to you than to me.. I understand, so I'll let you off the hook. You are correct, I am not a REP GEEK who lives on this site, with your 4000 posts.. I'd suggest you "put the keyboard down", take a shower, and if your mom's car is available see if she'd let you borrow it to get out of her house for the afternoon.
