Speedmaster Automatic Triple Date. One of the best reps. Am I the only one that thinks so?

I've held off on posting some of these pictures since acquiring the watch in 2008 sometime. It is a 28,800 vph movement. it is probably my fav rep. I am not sure if it was the N factory or who, but they did a fantastic job. There were at least two versions made; the other was 21,600 vph.

Having owned a couple gens, I can say this is one of the best reps I've ever seen. Unbelievable. Too bad it is no longer produced. (why...why?!!!)

This one initially had a problem with the chronograph mechanism. I sent it back for repairs to no avail (came back with a couple of new dings :mad: ), and so it was in a drawer for a long time. Until I decided to take it apart. I ended up replacing two parts and voilá!

The real deal: an 1151 with added moonphase mechanism and disc... what?!

And here it is next to its new cousin! (21,600 vph)
