A new watch manufacturer has been replicated.. Nomos Glashutte ! :welcomeani:

Previously, Nomos used mainly manual wind movements, based on ETA. This replicas mimics the "Tangomat" model, which uses Nomos' in-house Epsilon-movement (no-date).

Here is an article on Nomos and their Tangomat.

This replica has Asian Automatic. The finish of the movement is of course far from the gen. From the front I think it looks good. I like that the seconds subdial seems to be in the right place.

Welcome to the world of counterfeits, Nomos.. Only good brands are replicated. At the end of the day: . Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

The rep will look great on the wrist but maybe closed case-back would have been better for the reverse side

Anyone ever seen this NOMOS beauty?

For the price of a gen Nomos does a rep really make sense? You get a manufacture movement in a classic watch for an amazing price.

Nice watches, well made, love the classic Bauhaus styling, if they are well priced they might be worth it, but $300 and the dealers can go jump. You're right Philfree the gens aren't that expensive, at least for the entry level Nomos, not sure on the pricing of the above auto gen.

Gran that is gorgeous, never even knew Nomos did something like that!

Edit: It's lovely Gran and quite expensive!

Maybe it is worth saving up for...39.9mm is quite small these days so thats the only downside

We look very much forward to the wrist shots :smartass:

Definitely!!

I saw the Gen in Canterbury.

It is really nice and compared to the other watches for sale in the same place (mainly Rolex), very good value.

This may be the problem for the Rep. It will have to be very good to make it attractive compared to the Gen alternative.

im going to order the black one with my order form joush this weekend i really really like it

The rep has no subdial while all the gens, of any model on their website have one. Seems the biggest problem to me.

I am wondering if we will see the Tetra rep as well.

Some time ago Watcheden had it ................ but branded as Patek Philippe!!!!!!

Looks like I came to RWG at the right time :3. Love Nomos (and bauhaus watches in generaly) and despite the movement being a underdecorated, I am strongly thinking of purchasing it as my first rep.

Yep looks a nice rep, the qc pics look pretty damn good chrgod, we can get over the non-decorated movement at that price ;)

Let us see a few proper pics when you have it in your hands!

Interesting. Looks like watcheden had a Nomos rep from a few months ago, with a decorated movement (ofc not on the same level as the gen):

I wonder why the ones from joshua don't come with the same movement.
