2 days after receiving PAM 380 lug screws were all loose, have been advised by the TD to use Loctite to secure them. I noticed the indents on lug bars were very shallow possibly causing the bars and screws to come loose. Have used the Loctite and will need to wait and see if it holds. Anyone know if this is normal recommendation and what should be next course of action if the bars come out again. I don't think the scews would come out again but th bars might slide past. Such a shame as the watch and strap are superb.

I always used locktide on my 183. How does your crown screws in ?? Does it also leaves a gap between the crown and tube ??

So far so good with the Loctite lugs haven't moved with a full day of wearing. I'm resisting the temptation to start pulling the straps or testing the screws for secureness. If they come out It's back to the TD for plan b. Crown fits snug to the tube, no gap.

Red Locktite is formulated to require a flame be applied to loosen it. A torch. And I don't mean a British flashlight.

So no. Do not use it on your watches ;)

I always used the blue locktite and it never gave an issue when i wanted to change the strap.

Didn't look if there were a lot of left over glue parts after many changes but never the less it worked fo rme.

Had a Pam California style homage made in USA, no problem with screws for lugs, no locktite. Guy down south builds them Swiss case ,pick your movement, crystal, etc. Straps made by custom guy USA also, bought

a 240 mm python from him for a Blue Classic Pilot 47mm B-Uhr Flieger that is absolutely gorgeous.
