rrari1 Posted May 5, 2012 Report Posted May 5, 2012 (edited) Anyone know where I can get a rep of this? $40 seems a bit steep to me. Especially with the terrible endlinks, and the misplaced cyclops. http://gizmodo.com/5907895 Edited May 5, 2012 by rrari1
StormTooper4 Posted May 5, 2012 Report Posted May 5, 2012 What on earth is the reason for this? Is it just some sort of bracelet? A bit like those coloured live strong ones? I could get it if you could drop a movement and crystal but the rubber dial is too wierd
SalvadorDantes Posted May 5, 2012 Report Posted May 5, 2012 I'll take eleventeen on then 70th of neverbuary/

I could get it if you could drop a movement and crystal but the rubber dial is too wierd It's intended as a statement against Rolexyuppies, I guess. But when trying to mock people who pay 6000 usd for a wristwatch (that's probably worth around 1000 usd or less) by buying and wearing a piece of rubber for 40 usd (that's probably worth 1 usd)... I think the joke is on them.
TimeStopper45 Posted May 6, 2012 Report Posted May 6, 2012 Lol what in the world. So the point of this rubmariner is to poke fun at owners of real submariners?... so for $40, you still will be unable to tell what time it is
mrandazzo Posted May 6, 2012 Report Posted May 6, 2012 CGs are wrong, also SEL fit is wrong. Cyclop is misplaced on the black one, needs to be shaved off and reglued. If they are gen, how crap would be the rep?
sgtguk Posted May 6, 2012 Report Posted May 6, 2012 And some people take the [censored] out of buying a replica watch

If they are gen, how crap would be the rep? Maybe you could get BK to work it over. The CG's will probably wear themselves down over time. You could make a franken with using no tools other than a lighter.
