Discussed to posibility of going to Malmo with my 10 year old son. He was willing to go if i really didn't want to miss it ( incrediable how kind he is for his dad ) but he wasn't enthousiastic so i have to pass for this gtg. I will do my utmost to be present at the next one.

Still can't decide if I can afford this...

Flights are only c.£50 but add in the travel at the other end getting to and from a good friend's house that kindly offered to put me up :) (£40-60), the food (£50?), the drink (£50+?), odds and ends while over away...

I just don't think I can afford it! :(

Still looking how i am getting there, i was thinking of chartering a yacht but the guy i need for the qualifications to sale that distance cant get time off, so i may ride up on the bike or bring the car, or fly. Just dont know yet but i will be there, i hope Tim has a comfy sofa!

So, my chef friend has agreed to organize a 3 course menu for us at his restaurant for 440 SEK per person (about €50,5 at todays rate). This price will include two glasses of wine and coffee. The menu has not yet been set as he and his chefs will prepare something special for us with the nicest available local ingredients of the season. He will let me know more about a week ahead.. Does that sound OK for everyone confirmed? If not, no problem - just let me know and I will find us another restaurant!

Here's the confirmed list of attendants:

Stephane

FxrAndy

German? biker dude

'The other Andy'

solkryssare

Since we are not that many, there's no need for advance PP payment for the dinner. We'll just split it up at the restaurant - no worries.

Any one else interested in joining?! Need to know on Tuesday so that I can confirm with the restaurant and so I know how much stashing up I need to do.. ;)

Can't wait to see you guys! :Jumpy:

If you have next weeks Lottery numbers that would be good but apart from people participating i think that is to only thing to make a GTG better

Andy, is it worth us bringing a bottle of any thing due to the prices in Malmo?
