Gen insert on the left, rep is on the right. A pretty huge difference in shade! the_rymeister Posted July 7, 2012 Report Share Posted July 7, 2012 If you have a 42 mm planet ocean you can simply buy a genuine bezel and insert and it will fit straight on without modding the watch. But if you have a 45mm planet ocean all you can do is fit the genuine insert to the rep bezel.for some reason the watch construction is different on the 42 vs the 45. I bought a genuine bezel for my 45mm and there is no way without serious modding to fit it, which I think you'll be pushed to find someone who can ! I put both the gen and rep bezels next to each other and put a few pics on my thread and they really dont look any different. Take a look here .
