My TC LV Sub

PilotI

Recommended Posts

Not a gen crystal but one from BC.

the mods are:

TC SUB

1. TC V series Sub as mid case (no rehaut engraving and gen crown position

2. Aligned the 6 and 9 indices on dial.

3. V2 Bracelet SEL fit

4. BC Crystal

I'm planning to put in a V2 Datewheel and maybe the V3 bracelet and do something about the pearl.

Nice one. It definitely deserves a better pearl and a V3 bracelet, but TC's it's the best LV version at the moment.

Crystal looks very good, but I still don't understand why investing big bucks in a AR crystal which is incorrect for this serial instead of using money for other stuff like gen insert/crown/bezel,dwo..

I like the AR, makes reading the date so much easier.

Let's say this is a 2010 random series LV :)

What would you recommend todo with the pearl?

Looks great! I have a similar custom built LV sans insert from TC, but turned off by the gen LV insert prices ($450-600 range), and the aftermarket LV inserts are mostly crap, so I'm not sure what I plan to do yet. I may pop in a SS colored insert and see how it looks, kind of like this early Tudor model that was once available.

Just a quick update my sub is making slow but steady progress.

I've ordered the new V3 bracelet and V2 DWO from TC.

I also managed to install a gen pearl in the TC LV bezel. it looks very nice altough the photo does not do justice at all:
