dbutlerman
I tried PMing him a couple of weeks back and never heard back. If he's not in the parts business anymore, does anybody know who is? Thanks!
jamesfl
From what I've heard, he is currently on vacation.

watcher
I lost contact from Hugo Alves months ago now. He was getting me a mk16 full kit but has disappeared! I assume he is having his own problems these days.

dbutlerman
Darn x 2...I hope I can still source what I need I sending subliminal messages to IWC right now "You're not Rolex. You're friendly, like Omega. You want to make money in the secondary markets. You're not Rolex. You're friendly, like Omega. You want to make money in the secondary markets...." Hopefully this will work...

Michael_B
Darn! I just started in the rep game and now I read this... Gotta switch my favorite watch brand. Who am I kidding, I still love IWC.
cougar1
So does that mean those rare genensteins are worth more on the rep market now?
Watchmeister
So does that mean those rare genensteins are worth more on the rep market now? Sort of. They are rarer but the price is capped on many of them by the fact that the second hand itself isn't that expensive.
JohnDorian
Has anyone been able to get Texski to reply back?
wiesn089
I guess that replacement case Concepta promised me 1 1/2 year ago is down the drain then, but then again I already knew that when he stopped answering the emails I sent every 4-5 months or so. To be honest, I don't feel like it's a big loss for the rep community that he's out of business. I can't speak for the Texski assembled IWCs, but some Domi assembled ones were of subpar quality and Concepta's after sales communications was lacking at best... Kutio
As far as I know, next part run from all suppliers is September, so rushing won't help anyway. All our guys will need to wait till then.

All our guys will need to wait till then. Good point, if the parts are ever going to start flowing again it certainly will be September. I know AP's Le Brasus facility is closed for 3 weeks every year and I assume the other European watch companies follow suit.
