dbutlerman Posted July 26, 2012 Report Posted July 26, 2012 I tried PMing him a couple of weeks back and never heard back. If he's not in the parts business anymore, does anybody know who is? Thanks!
jamesfl Posted July 27, 2012 Report Posted July 27, 2012 From what I've heard, he is currently on vacation.
dbutlerman Posted July 27, 2012 Author Report Posted July 27, 2012 Thanks, I have also contacted Texski and Hugo Alves. Just waitingto hear back...
watcher Posted July 27, 2012 Report Posted July 27, 2012 I lost contact from Hugo Alves months ago now. He was getting me a mk16 full kit but has disappeared! I assume he is having his own problems these days.
dbutlerman Posted July 27, 2012 Author Report Posted July 27, 2012 Darn! I hope I haven't missed the boat on getting some parts...
Watchmeister Posted July 27, 2012 Report Posted July 27, 2012 IWC parts party is largely over with. IWC finally woke up.
dbutlerman Posted July 27, 2012 Author Report Posted July 27, 2012 Darn x 2...I hope I can still source what I need I sending subliminal messages to IWC right now "You're not Rolex. You're friendly, like Omega. You want to make money in the secondary markets. You're not Rolex. You're friendly, like Omega. You want to make money in the secondary markets...." Hopefully this will work...
Guest Posted July 28, 2012 Report Posted July 28, 2012 I'd like a word with him too Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
Michael_B Posted July 28, 2012 Report Posted July 28, 2012 Darn! I just started in the rep game and now I read this... Gotta switch my favorite watch brand. Who am I kidding, I still love IWC.
cougar1 Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 So does that mean those rare genensteins are worth more on the rep market now?
Watchmeister Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 So does that mean those rare genensteins are worth more on the rep market now? Sort of. They are rarer but the price is capped on many of them by the fact that the second hand itself isn't that expensive.
JohnDorian Posted August 3, 2012 Report Posted August 3, 2012 Has anyone been able to get Texski to reply back?
wiesn089 Posted August 3, 2012 Report Posted August 3, 2012 I guess that replacement case Concepta promised me 1 1/2 year ago is down the drain then, but then again I already knew that when he stopped answering the emails I sent every 4-5 months or so. To be honest, I don't feel like it's a big loss for the rep community that he's out of business. I can't speak for the Texski assembled IWCs, but some Domi assembled ones were of subpar quality and Concepta's after sales communications was lacking at best...
Fixen Posted August 3, 2012 Report Posted August 3, 2012 i have pm`d concepta to but no answer on my question, but i got an email about another thing that i already had bought
Kutio Posted August 7, 2012 Report Posted August 7, 2012 As far as I know, next part run from all suppliers is September, so rushing won't help anyway. All our guys will need to wait till then. 1

All our guys will need to wait till then. Good point, if the parts are ever going to start flowing again it certainly will be September. I know AP's Le Brasus facility is closed for 3 weeks every year and I assume the other European watch companies follow suit. 1
