Just got it in and its really nice, I'd say only mods needed is a gen crystal, gen bracelet and gen crown and tube. I'm going to send it off to spin for a service but ill take pics of it first to show you guys. The dial is great and overall seems like a huge cut above the cartel versions for a tiny bit more money. Really worth it.

I know, thanks Freddy, I'm trying to help everyone who has been asking lately which cartel version to buy and what mods they can do. The answer is get one of these,, way better practically the same price and can actually accept mods. I love love having these as beaters when I don't want to wear my 727 version. Here are some pics of it untouched, ill put the gen crystal and folded or riveted bracelet, I have both, and take more shots of it after that..

Only managed to get the band swapped, bezel is on pretty tight ill have my local watchsmith do it for me tomorrow..

I'm really struggling to find a hand set that I like for a v72 daytona and missed out on some used gen items that sold too cheap. I am still kicking myself.

I want to buy from him. But members I hold in high regard have suffered losses on his behalf. Out of interest how are you communicating with him?

I was dissapointed to hear what he did to others but I had placed an order with him before I found that out. It was a gold plated 6263 which came and I had no problem with him. I communicate with him by email and a lot of very broken engrish, lol, but he's been solid with me.

Put gen t21, had to dremel the bezel a bit but it took 5 mins. Perfect fit. Better clarity. If anyone wants to add only the t21 and nothing else this is the result, I put the bracelet it came with back on to show what it looks like with only the one mod.

Inner-diameter issues aside, DW's 300UPH bezel is a thing of beauty. Great-looking watch.

If you re-polish the inside and outside of a rep plexi, you will have the same clarity as a gen,

don't use Polywatch, this is made for tourists, use Flitz blue pasta, special for plexiglass

That has not been my experience. Polishing helps to improve clarity, but it cannot change the structure of the plastic material to give it the sparkle of a gen xtal.
