gpvecchi Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Did anyone tried to make a Gevril Tribeca Franken based vintage Daytona replica? It seems to need just some parts to swap...
cc33 Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Those watches are valuable in themselves, I have seen the prices go up and up on those so turning one into anything else would be a shame imo
alligoat Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Subdial spacing is also different from a Daytona- running seconds at 3, it's a Dubois Depraz chronograph module coupled with an eta 2824-2.
tomhorn Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Those watches are valuable in themselves, I have seen the prices go up and up on those so turning one into anything else would be a shame imo No doubt. I missed on two of them a few months ago at less than $600. Now it's hard to find them for less than $1,000. 1
gpvecchi Posted August 16, 2012 Author Report Posted August 16, 2012 (edited) That's what I wanted to know. I thought that it was a caliber 72 or similar. I don't think it worth that high prices... I saw that someone uses Enicar Aqua Graph too... Edited August 16, 2012 by gpvecchi
Michelangelo001 Posted August 6, 2015 Report Posted August 6, 2015 Buy mine instead and get a genuine Gevrilvery nice piece
GBOGH Posted August 6, 2015 Report Posted August 6, 2015 Too bad they're so small though at ~38mm size. Personally prefer the Tudor big block or similar that is larger.
