gazpacho
What about reps of modern art with several hundred prints? like #76/200 of a warhol or picasso or something like this. is there a community for this? anyone with any experience? Nanuq
My favorite artist is Fred Machetanz. His best work is, IMO, "Face to face" a painting of a polar bear on an ice floe (see my avatar). I love that piece but the prints on paper (not giclee) go for around $3,000 if you can find one. So I commissioned one from a company that specializes in that. I had it done in oils on canvas and the end result is absolutely superb. Total price with shipping was under $300.
KB
Seems to me that Nanqu's way would be hard to beat. Ken

Sounds awesome, could you share the details of this company? Not that I can actually afford anything, but there are a few paintings I would love to get repro'ed (especially Night Hawks, as I doubt I'll ever afford the original )

Nanuq
Yeah, basically a very high resolution inkjet on canvas. At least in the case of my collection.
