This build i started to think about this summer when i was in Croatia on veccation. I got a 1655 case as a gift from dadog13 (member here) this summer, huge THANKS dadog13! . I was going to keep it as it was but it hade some small problems like the gmt and was floppy and moved all around, also the crown and tube was in very bad shape, and then it hit me (a new 1675 build) So after a few drinks that night i contacted Rolexaddict and after that mail the ball was in roll. At the days i drove my motorboat with my family, swim and snorkld for 6weeks the sea coast in croatia is amazing! And at night when my girls was sleeping i was on my ipad hunting parts emailing and talking to people, orderd and orderd again. Rolexaddict and i talked about a few options and we agred on doing a regular 1675 gmt! he realy knows how to shap a 1675! And he ALWAYS do a 110% good job, hands down, he is the best!!! Next Gmt from RA will be the UAE cant wait for him to start that one! Here is the build : - 1655 Cartel Case re-shaped, dadog13 got it from here - Clarks New Bezel Assamble (it's a little little to thick) Polished (done by RA) - Gen normal Faded Insert (Bought from rwg member Linesiders) - Gen Plexi Cristal (Source RA) - Gen Crown/Tube (Source RA) - Nd-Trading Dial (Relumed by RA) - Raffels Hands (Relumed by RA) - Gen springbars (Gift from RA) - Full Red Arrow Gmt Hand (Gift from JJ) i love this hand!!! - Flatt Correct Caseback (From old donerix watch) - Jubilee Bracelet (Gift From RA) - DG-3804B Gmt Movement from Parrin in Canada. Very nice little famely ownd store that seplyes spare part for watches. Just the other night RA pointed out a few things with this case. He said that the steel was much harder, rehult was better and there was more material (meat) around the cg, other then that it hade the same specs as the now sold 1655 cartel watch. I can onely track this case back to 2010 when it was sold to dadog13, maybe its a little bit more older then 2010? Does anyone know when the cartel relised the new 1655 watch?
