Help finding a dress watch

I am looking for a dress watch to round out my collection. I would like it be under $300. The size between 39-42. I have already tried the iwc mark series and it wasn't for me.

Patek nautilus or royal oak non offshore for the sporty types and I have no idea for non sporty types.

I'd go with the new portofino, it's a very good rep. Alternatively something like a PP aquanaut on a leather strap can look very dressy.

White dial version on TD website are probably way off. It's Definitely silver dial on gen. The black will be much closer to gen. Nvm the sun burst

alright so far I do like the AP and the Portifino.

The ap jumbo is a nice one but ask for some advise in the audemars section on which dealer has the proper one with the longer ap logo on the dial. It's otherwise a great rep with a very convincing look, very close to gen. The patek is a fantasy model, it doesn't exist. Kind of looks like a 5070 but wrong dial and pushers.

I have an AP ROO. Great watch. Also wear the AP Diver which is routinely commented on because of the APBand horn back croc band on it. I have closely examined the gen and the replica is remarkably accurate but for the blue tint over the cyclops but that's only under certain lighting conditions.

Offshores aren't considered dress watches though, that first pic of the ap royal oak works for me!

Best dress watch? Easy, a vintage Rolex Sub 5513. It says everything, class, taste, discernment with a hint of rugged. Job done.

Those are extremely close to the gen, the black version they put wrong dw in it but the white/silver are great, black is great too, just put that proper dw in.

does anyone know what the lug size is on this watch and where to find to a good leather strap with a tag deployant clasp? Or can you use the deployant clasp that comes on the ss bracelet if you get the right strap?

Also where can you get a dw for the black version?
