danza1812
My watch is pretty much a super Franken already (dial, hands, date wheel, crystal, bezel, crown, tube, he valve and strap all gen) I know a caseback can't be seen but just for my own amusement I wouldn't mind taking one more step to perfect my watch. Has anyone done this final mod? Will it effect water resistance? Will I also need a new gasket? Any advice much appreciated. Thanks.
danza1812
Anyone help me out with this question? Will gen caseback fit 5th gen PO?
cougar1
I've only hear of one person doing this mod over on RWI. So yes afaik it will fit, but really why bother, the 42mm caseback is very very close to gen, looking at one vs the other you have to really try hard to see the differences, sure the gen has slightly more detailing, but to do the mod is a crazy waste of money...imo
danza1812
Yeah I guess you're right. Might sink it into some gen endlinks instead.
watcher
A gen case back fitted the previous upo as I was the first to do it a while ago. I ordered one from cousins uk at the time. I'm sure it will still fit as the case is pretty much the same and just has improved features.
triplehd
Agreed - why put money into a part if no one will ever see since the watch is on your wrist.
