1. Carrera Calibre 16 Day Date .... Many say these are Super Reps

2. Aquaracer Day Date

3. Aquarecer 500m chrono and non chrono.

I have the Gen and Rep Chrono and the Rep is awesome. It's really close to the Gen. This would be my pick !

I also found the new Link Calibre 16 is very nice, besides its crown problem, and of course lume

Aquaracer 500m (non chrono) is awesome, bought the Gen got the rep sold the Gen, only couple small tells, it is that good

Came from PT last year, then went on to Vac for cyclops removal, double AR and Full Re-lume, can't tell you how much better the mods have made it, well worth the wait

I'm looking at buying 2 tags this week any advice welcome read a fair bit but most posts are old.

Definitly buying 500m non chrono wih gen movement.

However looking for advice on another one

What is the calibre 5 movement? Is it an ETA 2824 or what?

Calibre 5 is 2824 based indeed

But if you asking about the Gen movement .... You should call it the Gen name ... I guess!!!

compared recently my gen 500M to a friends rep from pt, and i was amazed.  One or two super minor flaws, runs smooth as hell.  Pretty hard to tell gen from rep at a glance, and possibly a close up glance.

I've got the Aquaracer 500M Non-Chrono, and I couldn't be happier.  I almost bought the gen, but this rep is so good, I couldn't justify it.  I highly recommend it.

I have a rep Tag Heuer Calibre 17, look nice.

And a Gen of the Calibre 1887, I love with it

Carrera Racing Chronograph with silver screws + ETA Dial (very cheap fixes) basically gets you a 1:1 gen inexception of the rotor.

 

Link Automatic (non-chrono) looks to me (i'm getting one) the most accurate rep I've ever encountered OOB.

 

Aquaracer 500M New ones from trevor has the correct kerning of the letters in 500M and has the correct Tag Heuer Logo.
