dutchguy2
Just bought this watch: http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=193125 Seller claims it is a WM9 case and I have no reason to doubt this. But I am a noob when it is about WM9 cases. Can anyone tell me what version case this is?
andygt
It looks like its PT Swiss's 'Supreme' which is the same case as the V1 WM9
dutchguy2
Thank you. Does this mean it will accept gen parts?
alligoat
Should accept a gen crystal, bezel insert (and other bezel parts), and of course the gen tube and crown which all sub reps will accept.
Vester71
While the WM9 cases accept a gen tube, BK recommends using his custom tube for certain cases. For instance my V3 works best with the BK tube and gen crown. Totally watertight and have survived hours in a hot tub in winter
dutchguy2
Thanks alligoat. Does this version have complete gen construction or is the bezel construction different?
Olivax
It's a great watch. Bezel is better than TC i think. I use to have one with the same specification and it's one of the most accurate rollie I've ever owned.
panerai153
the WM9 subs were probably the best "out the box" reps going a couple of years back. BK took them to another level. Unfortunately, WM9 disappeared (Some say he was killed in an auto crash in China) however no substantual proof of this. At any rate he left the scene, and also took a pile of deposits and paid in full payments for a 16660 SeaDweller project that never happened. Not to take away from him, when he was producing, he made some really, really great watches. I would bet that the WM9 case will accept almost everything genuine, if you wanted to build a really expensive super franken.
